Tour tales to come

When we hit the road, I want to be able to keep up with this blog. I'd like to get a post in for every show describing the good, the bad, and, well, hopefully mostly good. So, here's how things have shaped up for Leg 1 and Leg 2, and how these next two months look:

LEG 1
Sept 26 - close to booking a show in Columbus, Ohio (fingers crossed)
Sept 28 - Cue (Midpoint Music Festival), Cincinnati, Ohio (no club website)
Sept 29 - House of Hamez, Rochester, New York

LEG 2:
Oct 11 - Kenny's Castaways (w/ Girls Guns & Glory), New York, New York
Oct 12 - Ward is working on a show in New London, Connecticut
Oct 13 - The Red Parrot (w/ Girls Guns & Glory and Andy Wallace), Hull, Massachusetts
Oct 14 - Grog and Tankard (w/ Girls Guns & Glory), Washington, DC
Oct 15 - Day of rest in Virginia Beach
Oct 16 - The Boot, Norfolk, Virginia
Oct 17 - Acoustic Coffeehouse (w/ Girls Guns & Glory), Johnson City, Tennessee
Oct 18 - The Corner Lounge (w/ Girls Guns & Glory), Knoxville, Tennessee
Oct 19 - 12 South Taproom (w/ JABE -- I heard a few McCullaghs and Rob Sutherland will be there!), Nashville, Tennessee
Oct 20 - Dewey Beach Americana Festival, Dewey Beach, Delaware
Oct 21 - Working hard on a show in Philadelphia
Oct 22/23 - Working on shows in Pittsburgh or NJ
Oct 24 - Bugjar (w/ Girls Guns & Glory and Electric Organic), Rochester, New York
Oct 25 - close to booking a show in Cleveland
Oct 26 - there's a slight chance we'll play in Albany, NY this day... if not, then we'll have a day of driving
Oct 27 - Big Heads (w/ Girls Guns & Glory and The Digbees), Rochester, New Hampshire
Oct 29 - just got offered a good paying show at NU in Boston, may take it to close out the tour with some money, since we'll lose so much
Oct 31 - Hennessy’s Halloween show (hosted by FNX), Boston, Massachusetts

As you'll see, most of the work is done. Even if some of those dates don't come through, we'll be OK. I'd like to get 1-2 dates definetly confirmed for the end of Leg 2, but if not, that's fine. That's my goal right now.

Anyhow, for the show on Sunday, it looks like I'm flying solo. The guys can't get work off for a second straight week, so I'm trying to coerce MK into doing some dueting. We'll see...
